• Information and other technical assistance for those involved in sustainable agriculture
  Information: ATTRA: National Sustainable Agriculture Information Service, funded by the US Department of Agriculture, provides information and other technical assistance to those involved in sustainable agriculture in the United States. There are publications available on their website related to the following topics: Organic Greenhouse Vegetable Production, Tomato Production and Herb Production; Solar Greenhouses Resource List; Greenhouse & Hydroponic Vegetable Resources on the Internet; Integrated Pest Management for Greenhouse Crops; Compost Heated Greenhouses; and Root Zone Heating for Greenhouse Crops.

• Information on a range of greenhouse management and pest management issues
 Information: University of Connecticut’s Department of Plant Science division has an Integrated Pest Management Program. Their IPM programs are designed to provide information to growers and commercial interests and information on their website was developed for conditions in the Northeast US. • Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Manual for Landscape Pests in BC  Canadian
 Information: An IPM handbook, with chapters that cover insects and diseases in greenhouses and nurseries from British Columbia Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection.

• Management Guide for Insects, Diseases, Weeds and Growth Regulators
 Information: A comprehensive guide developed by New England Greenhouse Floriculture for commercial production of greenhouse ornamentals with information on current pest management and growth regulators, including IPM and biological control information for greenhouse crops (200 pages, $25 to order).

• Research and information on environmentally safe greenhouse production practices
 Information: University of Massachusetts, Amherst Extension Program has a Floriculture unit that supports the greenhouse industry with research and information on environmentally safe production practices and marketing. There are fact sheets and other publications on a range of greenhouse management and pest management issues including some of the following: Subirrigation for Greenhouse Crops; Managing Weeds in Your Greenhouse; Groundwater and Your Greenhouse; Use "BMPs" to Increase Fertilizer Efficiency and Reduce Runoff.
